I possess a natural empathy and a desire to help people; whether that is to help ease the pain of chronic tension, to soothe the muscles following over-exertion or simply to relax and take away anxiety. I treat people holistically and as individuals

Your Treatment

I tend to use a variety of techniques in order to treat people in the best possible way

For most of the clients I see, I will talk to them prior to their first treatment about their specific needs. I will then make a suggestion about how I feel their first treatment should go and as I work, I may give advice about any further treatments if necessary and also about possible lifestyle enhancements to incorporate into their everyday lives.

I tend to use a variety of techniques in order to treat people in the best possible way, for example, if a client is suffering with the common problems of shoulder pain and neck tension. Hot stones can be used to deeply relax the muscles allowing much deeper penetration into them, which I will do using Swedish Massage techniques, to break up any knots, allowing the muscles to relax further as the heat and the long strokes of my hands relax the mind, slow the heart rate and help to eliminate any toxins from the body.

I have a history of treating marathon runners and other people who take exercise seriously

Other clients may have a more specific muscular problem, for example I have a history of treating marathon runners and other people who take exercise seriously and with them I massage the areas they require using a combination of Swedish and Thai techniques to stretch the muscles, release pressure and increase blood flow so that the normal aches and pains following exercise are diminished.

Stress and anxiety are also common problems in the modern world and I tailor my treatments of these problems to give the whole body a feeling of release. I concentrate on ridding the muscles of tension, whilst also using long sweeping movements to bring the body and mind into a state of harmony. I may then use Indian Head Massage to balance the body and mind, releasing tension in the head and creating a 'floating' feeling that is often described as inspiring and revitalizing.

Whatever your needs, I will find a way to help and I thoroughly endorse massage as an essential part of human life.
